Coffee: I am not a morning person by any stretch of the imagination, but since starting to work from home I have found it essential to treat my mornings as if I was getting up to head out for a job outside my tiny home. I look forward to my first cup every morning, I love the smell, the taste, everything.
Making the bed:Β Β Itβs theΒ ultimate signal to my body and mind to stop scrolling and sipping and know that lounging is no longer on the menu. A made bed to me means its time to get my day started. ItΒ transforms whatΒ feels cluttered into something organized.
Movement:Β Since I began working from home I find that getting my body going in the beginning portion of my day not only makes me feel better but makes me more attentive, energetic, and fires my brain at a capacity to be present for the dayβs work ahead.
Breakfast: Β Most days as of late Iβve been craving smoothies in my mornings - my favorite summer smoothie right nowΒ includes a healthy helping of spinach, and kale with a whole banana and the warm weather treat of stone fruit (pictured here is a white nectarine)
Camera ready:Β Β For my makeup, I completely transitioned into the clean beauty market a few years ago and now only use vegan and ethically made products.Β I love that I can buy into a product that is good quality and help a business I fully support on every side of their business model.
Begin:Β Β If I have appointments with clients I pick my hat based off of comfort and all day wearability; and if I am writing copy or on chat on our website I may choose to grab aΒ Farm trucker. I try to keep the pregame to my day consistent andΒ routined soΒ I can be the very best for whatever my day has in store!
