A Goorin Bros. X Hampui collaboration

EL SOL is a workshop project between two old friends, Willee Roberts of Hampui Hats and Ben Goorin of Goorin Bros. They come together one Sunday each month in Wilee's workshop in Berkely, California to make something extraordinary for the moment. Each hat is crafted by hand from articles responsibly and sustainably sourced from around the world.

The Details: Crown: 4" Cattleman / Fabric: 100% wool felt / Brim : 4" Flat stiff brim / Hat Band: Woven Band Full Wrap / Sweatband: Leather / Lining: None / Origin: Made in Bolivia

Why We Love It: A cattleman crown for starters. This crown shape is so unique and completely shifts the vibe of the hat itself. The edge binding on the flat wide brim is subtle enough to not distract from the overall hat, yet elevates it just enough. I'm personally a sucker for a double hat band. The muted yet vibrant marigold grosgrain ribbon paired with a leather braided band creates a playful take on earth tones. The best part about this style is the sun pin designed special for the El Sol collection.
