Greenville, SC held its first Gender Expansive Fashion Show to wrap up its first official celebration of Pride Month back in June 2021. Our Charleston shop team member Tayler Rodgers was at the event to represent Goorin Bros :

"I think it's incredibly important to take part in landmark community events whenever given the chance (this being the first City approved Pride ANYTHING in Greenville's history). It shows that we aren't just another retail shop on the block but instead an active part of the community we've chosen to make ourselves a part of. Even though it was outside the direct scope of Charleston, our customer is largely not local. We get a lot of Upstate traffic (Greenville/Spartanburg/Clemson area) and having a presence in places that come to our shops where we might not have physical locations is critical in terms of growth. Additionally I think the event proved that our product can move in scenarios not specifically built out to be a shopping experience. Everyone attending the event was there for the fashion show and to support their fellow LGBTQ+ community. Shopping, while an afterthought, still was a success due to how well our brand fit the event and the excitement seeing it in a performative way generated. Being able to conduct successful events outside of the traditional Trunk Show shows how malleable our brand can be. There's a hat out there for everyone and we can provide a comfortable, friendly, and fun space to find it just about anywhere."
