[BLOCK No.13] is one of our coolest blocks we make. It transforms what our preconceived notions of a "western" crown and elevates it to take on a modern vision.
The Details: 4 1/4" cattleman crown, 100% merino wool, with a 2 3/4" Snap brim w/ edge binding. Medium stiffness, and a smooth finish. Featuring a thin grosgrain hatband with pinch bow and a genuine leather sweatband.
Why We Love It: The medium width on this brim makes Willie R. the perfect companion to any outfit. The upturned snap brim with edge binding makes it dressier, while still being extremely attainable. No need to be intimidated by this style even though the crown is a cattleman style which can be fairly pigeon-holed.
How We Style It: I love to break norms with Willie R. Since the cattleman crown suggests a western look to it, I love to pair Willie R. with dresses and button-downs. On the other hand, its so easy to make a simplistic outfit stand out by adding Willie R. into the mix. Plain tee and trousers? Willie R. Flannel and loose fitting denim? Willie R. It helps you feel 1000 x more put together with zero of the effort. People will be like, wow, that's such a cool shaped hat. And you're good to go!
